Service Description
If you're considering flexischooling or looking for ways to introduce more flexibility into your child’s education, these small-group sessions offer reassurance, advice and a chance to connect with other parents in similar situations. Bringing together our expertise in flexible education, an understanding of how schools operate and a coaching-led approach, we will help you explore your options, prepare for conversations with schools and decide which steps to take to enable positive change for your child. Accompanied by a comprehensive workbook, each one-hour session focuses on a key aspect of finding the right approach for your child. 1. Considering your child’s needs and exploring what's possible - Connecting with other parents in a supportive space - Identifying what’s working and what’s not for your child - An introduction to flexischooling and other flexible pathways 2. Navigating the education system and working with schools - Understanding school policies and legal frameworks - Approaching conversations with schools effectively - Knowing what you can ask for and how to present your case 3. Having difficult conversations - Talking to your child about their education and wellbeing - Managing concerns from family, friends, and professionals - Advocating for your child with confidence 4. Making a Plan & Taking Next Steps - Putting your knowledge into action - Planning a clear way forward - How to access ongoing support Parent workshops currently run from 12-1pm on Wednesday.
